Assisted Living FAQ
What is the difference between assisted living and skilled nursing?

The Meridian assisted living is a unique residence for seniors who still maintain their independence but need more custodial care help so they are not burdened by routine activities of daily living like cooking housekeeping, mowing or other household chores.  The Meridian features elegant residences with a full range of thoughtful services and outstanding amenities that offer a senior living lifestyle that's second to none.

Skilled nursing on the other hand is for those residents who have more complex medical issues which require short or long-term round-the-clock medical care requiring a skilled nurse, speech, language or respiratory therapist.

Will I have to sign a lease or be required to purchase anything?

No.  The Meridian is unique in that there are no short or long-term lease requirements, lengthy vacating notice requirements or requirement to make a purchase.  Rent is paid on a monthly basis and we only need a 30 day written notice if you ever wish to move.
